Celebrate Independence Day On The Water

This weekend, spectators all over Long Island will be gazing skyward to enjoy firework shows as we celebrate our nation’s independence.

There are plenty of firework displays that can be appreciated from the water. So pack your boat with a cooler and some snacks, invite a few friends, and watch the night sky come alive!

Here are a few displays in our neck of the woods:

Stars Over Montauk
Umbrella Beach at Montauk – 1/3 mile west of town
Saturday, July 4th at 9 PM

Asharoken Fireworks
Crab Meadow Beach (launched from a barge in the Sound)
Saturday, July 4th at 9 PM
Raindate is July 5th  

Annual Carnival & Fireworks Show
Hosted by Greenport Fire Department,
Polo Grounds, Moore’s Lane
Fireworks Saturday July 4th and Sunday July 5th at 10 PM

Southampton 27th Annual American Picnic with Fireworks by Grucci
36 Barkers Island Rd/Shinnecock Bay, Southampton
Friday, July 3rd  
Raindate is July 5th

Go 4th On The Bay
Great South Bay – Connequot River, Oakdale
Thursday, July 2nd

The Westhampton Beach Country Club
Saturday, July 4th at 9 PM
Rain date will be July 5th
The country club is private, but the fireworks are visible from the Great Lawn and elsewhere in Westhampton Beach

Sag Harbor Yacht Club
Saturday, July 4th at about 9:30 PM
Good views:  Marine Park, Haven's Beach, or Sag Harbor's Long Wharf

Devon Yacht Club Fireworks

Saturday, July 4th, 9:15 PM
The yacht club is private but fireworks are visible from elsewhere in Amagansett

Riverhead Fireworks Presented by Riverhead BID
Friday, July 3rd, 9:15 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, July 5)
Grangebel Park, Peconic Avenue, Riverhead
